Smock Wonder

Convertible Art Smock

I made this child’s convertible art smock from the book One Yard Wonders. Then I met a group of Stapleton Mommies for a sewing craft night and showed them how to make their own. I think it is a really great gift idea. Fill it with some simple paint brushes, paint and paper and it is a sweet gift for a special little person.

ooo. and i went to heather ross’s blog and she said that on the martha stewart show, she used the nani iro fabric (double gauze) and it is perfect for the mendicino pattern. i’m going to try it next! : )

Oh yeah! I remember that now. I shouldn’t have discouraged you from the gauze. However, I LOVE the fabric you used. Crazy cute dress. I hope to see you again soon.
