Here are a few of the refashions I have made for Mira. She is my muse.

Mushroom Punk
This is a simple white t-shirt. I cut off the sleeves and cut up each side seam. Then I tied knots along each side. The mushroom is a felt patch and we died the shirt in strawberry KoolAid.

The Gretel Sweater
This is Mira’s Gretel Sweater. It is made from an old felted sweater of mine. I cut it down and added vintage trim and button.

New Play Dress from Old
This play dress is made from a JJill shirt of mine. I cut off the sleeves and added some Amy Butler floral fabric in the V on the neck.

Mira is a real model
I’m loving the grey sweater and her expression in the pic!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s good to know I’m not the only one having problems with that dress, but the good news is that Heather will be adressing this problem on her blog, at least that’s what she said in the comment section on her FAQs
I would love to see your version of the dress, let me know if you post it!

I’ve admired your refashions on WR and wanted to say HI! I should make some dress up clothes for my 3 year old – I haven’t thought to do that. BTW, your blog template is very cool.

Oh thank you Suzanne! It has become one of my daughters favorites! I love girls clothes and luckily I have two very fashion conscience girly girls to share my passion with. You know, I have been seeing some really cool boy stuff and great non-gender fabrics out there. You knit, so you can do so much fun stuff for boys. I know how to knit, but I have to say that I am not very good at it. I have dreams that I knit wonderful things. Maybe someday it will come true.
