Remember this doll from July? Well, I have been very busy this week making four more Travel Dolls. These little sweeties are ready for adventure and have the wardrobe to go with it. Oh, and just in case they get sleepy during their travels, there is a built in pillow for naps on the go!

Thanks Aja. I have not sent them off yet, but they will be in a fund raising craft fair in November for my great aunt’s senior center. I hope they sell.

i am still so awed at how mom’s find the time to make such wonderful things for their kids. now that etta is getting longer stretches of sleep at regular times, i’m starting to be able to organize my days and find more time.
lovely dolls!

I think these will sale really well. Think about making some for boys too. Like I mentioned in the July post
my dnph wanted a doll after I had made his sisters
dolls. He was 7 or 8 at the time.
God Bless You and Yours!!!

Great idea! I am on that right now. Of course boys would love one too. Why didn’t I think of that!

I love these dolls Sadie, and thanks for sharing your secret! I added painted-on shoes, undies, and a necklace for Sofia’s “fancy girl” Rose!
I also want to make some for boys. I’m thinking of sewing jeans on, and just making shirts to switch out.

Oh, I am so glad you enjoyed making them. It sounds like Sofia’s turned out cute. Share some pics.
