I used Anna Maria Horner’s pattern for a smock top found in her book “Seams to Me”. I made this new smock from an old flea market dress that I had found in NYC about a year ago. I love the way it turned out and has become one of my favorite shirts this spring.

Here are a few of the refashions I have made for Mira. She is my muse.  This is a simple white t-shirt. I cut off the sleeves and cut up each side seam. Then I tied knots along each side. The mushroom is a felt patch and we died the shirt in strawberry KoolAid.    [...]
