We got chicks about three weeks ago. Their names are Olive, Hazel, Parsley, Dosa and Samosa. We hope to move them out to their new coop and run in the next couple weeks. I will be happy when that day comes, because right now they are living in my sewing room!

I have been a little slow posting here.  I have lots to talk about. So stay tuned for upcoming posts about baby clothes quilts, baby chicks and some Easter surprises.

Instead of bagging up for Goodwill, I did a little mending today of some of Mira’s favorite fashions. A bird patch on her favorite hippie skirt. Fabric glued a butterfly applique on a springtime shirt. Tightened up the elastic on the waistband of some vintage velvet pants. She was very happy.
